Tecoma stans ‘Gold Star’ – Gold Star Esperanza

Features:
A heat and drought tolerant Texas native from the Trans-Pecos area. Flowers are bright yellow in color, 2 inches long with trumpet shape and clustered at the branch tips. Esperanza is frost tender and should be treated as an annual in some areas of the state.

Hardiness Zones: USDA Zone 9 (20 °F) to USDA Zone 11 (40 °F)

Height: Grows 4’ tall and 3’ wide.

Exposure: Plant in Full Sun.

Bloom Time: Blooms Early Summer to Frost.

Water Requirements: Water once per week until established.
Does best in a well-drained soil.
